The report pointed out that the Minister of State for Information did not play its hoped-for role in activating the role of Egyptian television and censoring media content that is broadcast from within the Media Production City, and the slow response in a timely manner to false information circulating among citizens to prevent its spread. He made a serious mistake when he dealt with the Egyptian state media and questioned his patriotism, prompting the hostile channels to exploit these statements that were dealt with by the minister.
The report also revealed financial and administrative errors that had been committed on both sides and required accountability for those responsible, which prompted the committee to reject the minister's statement. .
