Today, Thursday, the Libyan authorities in the east of the country announced a curfew from seven in the evening to seven in the morning, starting on March 19 for a period of two weeks, in light of the spread of the new Kurna virus significantly in the cities of the eastern region.
"A total curfew is imposed for a period of two weeks, starting from tomorrow, Friday, on persons and commercial activities from seven in the evening until seven in the morning," the Libyan army chief of general staff and head of the Supreme Committee to Combat Corona epidemic said in a press statement.
The statement emphasized that "pharmacies and private and public clinics are excluded from the ban imposed under the provisions of the previous article, while adhering to all precautionary and preventive measures issued by the Supreme Consultative Committee."
And the National Center for Disease Control in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, announced yesterday, Wednesday, that 15 cases of the mutated Corona virus of the South African strain were recorded for the first time in the country.
