Pope Francis, Pope of the Vatican, arrived in Iraq on a four-day visit, on the first papal visit to the country, where the Pope was received by Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, and hundreds of citizens in Iraq, carrying Iraqi and Vatican flags, welcomed the Pope's visit. The visit bore the phrase "We are all brothers", as the official slogan of the trip from March 5 to 8.
And Pope Francis went to the Baghdad Palace, and was received by the Iraqi President Barham Salih, where Pope Francis left Baghdad airport on his way to the Peace Palace to meet the President of the Iraqi Republic, Barham Salih, according to Alsumaria News.
On Friday morning, Pope Francis traveled to Iraq on board an Airbus A330 belonging to Alitalia that applies a special health protocol due to the Corona pandemic, while his domestic flights will be secured by Iraqi Airways.
