Dortmund first to qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals after a marathon match against Seville

Borussia Dortmund qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League, after tying 2/2 with its Spanish host Sevilla in the match that brought them together Tuesday evening at the "Signal Iduna Park" stadium, within the second leg of the continental championship final.

The goals of the match were scored by Erling Haaland in the 35th and 54th minutes, while Moroccan Youssef Nassiri scored the two goals in Seville in the 68th and 89th minute of the match.

The first leg between the two teams, which was held at the "Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan" stadium, ended with Borussia Dortmund winning 3-2.

Borussia Dortmund qualified for the quarter-finals after winning the first-and-second matches with a score of 4/5 in one of the best performances of the German team this season in which it seeks to compensate for failure in the German league.

Haaland has become the fastest to reach 19 goals in the history of the Champions League from 14 games, and according to the Opta World Network, Erling Haaland has so far scored 19 goals in the Champions League, no player has scored more than him since his first appearance in the competition in September 2019 (equal with Robert Lewandowski).

The match almost caught fire between the players after Moroccan goalkeeper Yassin Bono and Erling Haaland provoked each other during the penalty kick, which was returned.

The way in which the Norwegian celebrated Erling Haaland caused him to receive a yellow warning from the referee for creating a crisis with the Seville goalkeeper.
